Steamed rice topped with seasoned spinach, bean sprouts, carrot, courgette, shiitake mushroom, fried egg, and house-made gochujang. Served in a hot stone bowl for that perfect crispy rice bottom.
Soodalbo's signature dish. Aged house kimchi (minimum 3 weeks fermentation) simmered with pork belly, firm tofu, and spring onions. Served bubbling hot with steamed rice and 3 banchan side dishes.
Chewy Korean rice cakes in Hana's spicy-sweet gochujang sauce with fish cake, boiled egg, and scallions. Our most ordered delivery item — Instagram's favourite for a reason. Mild, medium, or fire level.
Soodalbo was founded in 2019 by Chef Hana Park, who grew up cooking in her grandmother's kitchen in Busan, South Korea. After 8 years working in London's restaurant scene (including stints at Jinjuu and On The Bab), Hana launched Soodalbo as a pop-up at Flat Iron Square.
The pop-up sold out every weekend for 6 months straight. In 2020, Soodalbo moved to a permanent kitchen in Elephant & Castle, focusing exclusively on delivery and takeaway. Today we serve 400+ orders per week across London.
Everything — from our kimchi to our gochujang — is made in-house using traditional recipes. We import gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes) directly from Sunchang-gun, and our rice comes from a family farm in Icheon.
